Built by a sales leader, for growing companies
The Growth Foundry gives growing companies the kind of commercial leadership usually reserved for large organizations.
Dave Lindsay
Dave has spent more than a decade building and leading Canadian sales teams for US-headquartered companies, with deep experience in healthcare and medical devices. That includes leading the Advanced Surgery business in Canada for Baxter, where he earned the 100 Club award four years running (2021 to 2024). He was named Sales Manager of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
He holds executive education from the Rotman School of Management and Columbia Business School, studied at Carleton University, has been a member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association since 2005, and guest lectured on the sales process at the University of Toronto for eight years.
Dave founded The Growth Foundry to bring that experience to founders, growing companies and businesses entering Canada, and to connect the parts of growth that usually get handled separately: strategy, leadership, systems and people.
Growth is built, not found
A foundry takes raw material and forges it into something strong enough to carry load. That's how we see commercial growth: strategy, process, systems and people, shaped and joined into an engine that keeps performing under pressure.
How we show up
- Execution over slides. A plan only matters if it's working in the field.
- Candid advice. We tell you what we see, even when it's uncomfortable.
- People first. Great leaders build more leaders, not more followers.
- Built to last. We leave behind systems and skills your team owns.
Leadership others remember
"He had a knack for identifying where the business needed to go and then empowering his team to help make it happen."
"He has a rare ability to offer candid, practical advice with empathy and without imposing his own answer."
Not sure where to start?
Most clients start with a Commercial Growth Assessment. In 2 to 4 weeks you'll know exactly what's holding growth back and what to fix first.
